This illustrated memoir and biography unfolds the inspiring internal and external spiritual odyssey of Yamuna Devi’s devotional life recalled in her memories, talks, journals, and writings, as well as the remembrances of the author and other associates and friends. Yamuna Devi: A Life of Unalloyed Devotion is richly supplemented with hundreds of rare photos, Yamuna’s calligraphic works, illustrations, and art.

Because Yamuna Devi was so personally skilled in calligraphy, we wanted to use her lettering on the cover. We extracted the letters from her writing for the cover typography. This two-volume boxed set came in a cardboard case with a beautifully printed mandala on the outside. Each hardcover book was stamped with a richly-textured gold design and covered with a color dust jacket. The book layout includes details personal to Yamuna Devi, like the scan of the sacred beads she wore around her neck surrounding the dedication and her stained glass artwork on the end sheets. The book interior beautifully illustrates the life and devotional legacy of Yamuna Devi.
